Who We Are

Yap Legal is a legal and corporate governance firm providing specialist expert legal and governance advice with efficient, practical solutions. Principal, Kwong Yap LL.B, LL.M, FGIA has over 30 years of legal, company secretarial and corporate governance experience. Kwong has been general counsel and/or company secretary of various listed companies. He holds a Bachelor of Laws from The University of Melbourne and a Master of Laws from University of London and is admitted to the Supreme Court of Victoria and the High Court of Australia. He is a Chartered Secretary and a Fellow Member of the Governance Institute of Australia. He is a member of the Law Institute of Victoria (LIV) and the Association of Corporate Counsel (ACC) Australia.
